My Story
THE BRAND
Freya Adventure Jewellery is inspired by nature and the great outdoors, and I am a firm believer that jewellery is made to be worn for all occasions in life, not just the special ones.
Why did I start making Jewellery?
I was some one that would spend a lot of money on Jewellery as I loved it, and one day my Mum said to me, "why don't you learn how to make your own jewellery, as you buy so much of it"
So I did just that, I found an Intro to Silver Smithing Course and I have never looked back. I learnt the basics there and then everything else I have taught myself by watching YouTube videos, and having an eye for jewellery designs helps.
Why outdoor themed?
Some of my very first pieces were the Hand Stamped Mountain Designs and I chose to start with these designs, as I was struggling to find affordable Mountain Jewellery myself in the UK. So I thought, why not do it myself! It is why I use Natural Ethical Gemstones, these are formed in the earth and are true nature creations. Jewellery has meaning to me, whether it has a connection to a place, memory, person, pet, a holiday or an adventure you have been on.
Each item is hand made, photographed, packaged and sent by me all with love and care.

ABOUT ME
Hi I'm Freya, born and bred in a city suburb of Nottinghamshire, but I knew that life was not for me, so in 2021 I moved to The Lake District to chase a dream of living near the mountains. And boy! What a fantastic decision that was! As since then I have been on so many more adventures, started my jewellery business and left my career, of 10 years, as a Podiatrist to pursue my dreams even further. A lover of the great outdoors, especially the beauty that is the UK's countryside and my main hobbies include hiking and wild swimming. Time spent in nature is time well spent indeed.
